Business Process Outsourcing is a new trend and a hot business in India. Number of people are benefiting after joining this industry. In the past, only the professional courses are regarded as lucrative jobs, but now even ordinary graduates can earn thousands of rupees per month by joining the BPO companies. I am myself a good example. I never thought that I would draw a six figure salary in my life but after 4 years of joining a company I have reached that scale and the interesting part is, the salary is still in the rise. So many companies still require right candidates with good profile.



Attitude plays an important part in the growth of a person. As the saying goes, "it is the attitude that determines the altitude and not the aptitude", if one really has control over himself in all dimensions, it will certainly lead him to the door of success. Many people have approached me after completing their graduation to join in the company where I work and some of them did get a job. I can see lot more people interested to join BPO companies and that made me to start this portal. This would be the destination for all those seeking a job in the BPO industry. Through this portal I can reach as many people as needed and let them understand the requirements BPO industry has today.



In Chennai itself there are hundreds of BPO companies and the truth is most of these companies are short of required manpower. If you have right skills, who knows, you could be a leader in the BPO industry in a very short period of time. In any company you join, you have to establish a real worth to yourself in your position and that will make people to look at you in order to give some more additional responsibilities. Soon you will climb up in the ladder, which will put you in a much more comfortable condition. My own experience tells that one, who has real passion to learn new things, will eventually be victorious. This is the Key. You should not show any dissent in taking in new roles and responsibilities.



Another important thing to be noticed in the BPO industry is the work timings. Most of the BPO companies never work in the regular office hours (ie., 9 am to 6 pm, if at all any company works it would be a new one and soon the timings will change as the company grows.) Usually in any company there would be three shifts, first, second and the third shift. The second shift would last almost before the midnight and the associates would be provided with transportation facilities to ensure they reach safely during night time. And the third shift is full and full nightshift which starts around midnight and goes till in the morning. One should be capable of taking all these shifts to mark himself as a good associate.
